Walnut Grove Library

Go the Walnut Grove Library and the Carthage Library and check out their learning packs. These packs are a fun way to help your child learn a new skill. Each pack contains a book and a learning activity. Some examples: colors, numbers, letters, addition, and subtraction.
Your children like going to the library and I'm sure they would enjoy listening to you read a story from the learning pack and would like to work the activity with you.

Tips on teaching colors

Teaching Colors

Here are a few tips to help teach you toddler or preschool child their colors. Let me know how it goes.

1. Point out a particular color to your child at all occasions. For example: Point out the different colors of M'M's, the color of your child's shirt, even the color of your car

2. Look for a certain color of objects in a room.

3. Here are some titles of books about colors that your child will enjoy:
